Serialise Thyself is the permanent Crimsonvariable tagline. It connects the idea of representing state in a form that can be understood, carried, rebuilt, and shared with the wider practice of documenting a self-authored life.

One body of work, several environments

I build practical infrastructure, shape Linux desktops around the way I work, edit video, and document movement through real places. Those subjects are not separate brands. They are different views of the same interest: understanding tools well enough to make deliberate choices with them.

Learning in public

Some projects are mature systems and others are active experiments. Status labels matter here: planned work is not presented as finished, private implementation is not disguised as open source, and a prototype is allowed to remain a prototype.
